A note for you… from Pastor Karl:

I want to personally welcome you to Agape Baptist Church website! Agape is a church with a solid biblical foundation where everyone feels welcome. We believe church can be exciting, inspiring, and fulfilling. It is our desire to be a place where we can be ourselves, a place where we can connect with friends and with God.

Agape is so much more than a building where people meet to worship, study and pray. The church is comprised of the people who make up this family of faith. Our building and programs are simply tools that enable us to reach people for Jesus Christ and to train Christians to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

The vision God has put on my heart for this church is “to be a lighthouse that can reach our community for Jesus Christ through praying, caring and sharing with others in need.” And for that to happen we need to have relationships.

Relationships are important in this church. Our relationship to God through Jesus Christ is primary. Second, we take seriously our obligation to build strong relationships among the members. We pray for, encourage and care for each other. Third, we understand the importance of building bridges to those friends without Christ so they may be brought to Christ.

Ultimately, we are a family here at Agape, and we want to be a safe place that people can build life-changing relationships and grow closer to each other, and to Jesus Christ.
